IFMA OBJECTIVES

The IFMA's main objectives are:

a) To unite through membership in the Association persons interested in accounting and financial and business management, who work in the Suisse Romande area and whose primary business language is English;

b) To provide a forum on a regular basis where issues relevant to the members may be presented and discussed. These issues include new economic developments, changes in legislative or regulatory requirements, management techniques and other matters of general business interest;

c) To develop—through research, discussion and exchange of information—a better understanding of the sources, types and uses of accounting and business-related data as applied to all types of economic endeavor; and to make this information available to members and others;

d) To provide opportunities for members to increase their knowledge of accounting practices and methods, to develop their individual capabilities and to maintain professional qualifications through attendance at technical meetings and by participating in Continued Professional Education (CPE) programs.

If you are interested in financial and business management and would like to join the International Financial Management Association, contact the membership secretary (link Committee) or use our registration form (link “Join IFMA”)
